Beginning a new season is exciting, scary, hopeful and joyous. As players/competitors/coaches we are embarking on a journey together. Central Georgia Arts & Athletics is now in our 5th year. We, the CGAA board, hope your season is filled with fun, camaraderie, and learning however we know from experience that it will also contain some disappointment, obstacles, and challenges.

Remember this season, that we are all here to support one another to achieve personal and team goals which may require some individual sacrifices. We are called by God to lay ourselves aside for others. This season we want to challenge you to grow in your sport or art competition but the greatest growth may be in your spiritual journey with God.

“For example, the body is one unit and yet has many parts. As all the parts form one body, so it is with Christ. By one Spirit we were all baptized into one body. Whether we are Jewish or Greek, slave or free, God gave all of us one Spirit to drink.” | 1 Corinthians 12:12-13

Thoughts to consider:

  • Am I lifting up or tearing down?
  • Am I pushing myself for my best each day in all things?
  • Do I ask for help when I’m struggling?

We are here to support you. We need your support too, if something is not going well or you have a concern please speak to your coach or program director.
